Welcome home Matt!!!!!!
So happy he is home safe with his family and loved ones! Wish all the boys could come home too. Congrats on the new baby boy for Emory to play with, hope he isn't a daredevil like his big brother, no more broken bones!!!!! Happy Halloween to everyone also. I have tons of candy but usually only get about six teenagers every year but want to be prepared. The little ones love the pumpkins and the dress up, I love to see their little costumes too.
Matt and Halloween!
Im praying that the baby wont be anything like Emory. I think I can only handle one Emory. He is a very special little guy though. He can be very sweet but also at times he is a wild child.
We dont get many trick- or- treaters! I just take the kids around to friends and family and show them off. lol. They are just so darn cute in their costumes!
Matt & baby
I'm so happy for you and Matt. I'm sure your both walking on air. With Matt coming home and a baby on the way, I don't what words to use to express how special you must be feeling right now.
Hello Ladies!
Hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween. I got one teenage girl at 3:00pm, and two school kids, that was it! Had tons of candy left over, I was disappointed!
A new President soon! Very exciting! Joe voted as first time American citizen, he is so proud, as well he should be! God Bless the Red/White and Blue! Mango is doing so much better ladies! Cost me a fortune but worth every penny! He is drinking more water now and is frisky.
Dori, is it all over the papers there about Jennifer Hudson's tragedy? I read she is staying in a hotel with guards around her. So very sad!
Vote Tomorrow Ladies!
Well, here it is, finally, and what a history making day it will be! Hope everyone votes, for whomever they deem to be the best to lead our country. I think all eyes of the world are upon us. Think of our children, think of Right and Wrong, of Freedom and Liberty. I personally want ALL the soldiers to come home safe, as soon as possible. It seems like things have turned upside down, the people that can get married, don't want too, have 20 thousand kids and live together, the Gays want to marry and can't! Something is definitely wrong with our society and our morals! Have a good day everyone! Cold here today, cooking Black Eyed Peas in the crockpot and watching my Judge Mathis, love him!!!! Mango is doing so good, thanks for all the well wishes and prayers for him (especially sweet little Olivia)!
done that
I've already voted. I know that people are urged to vote yet the whole situation is a mess. Have you seen some of those lines? Are the American people really supposed to decide between thier jobs or voting? You are right Lori. Things are coocoo.
Voted
I voted yesterday, Monday. I wanted to beat the crowds. Duh, did I ever get that one wrong. But I'm done. Just have to wait for the results now.
I too want our boys home. My one nephew is on his third tour in Iraq and my other nephew is leaving for his second.
Sorry but it is 78 degrees outside.
Glad Mango is doing well.
I can't wait to party...with the whole group now!
I'm so anxious to come over there next week and see him! I'm so excited, we have the whole group now to party with!!! Oh. Wow never though about it...we got to find a new babysitter.
Well thank God, and how he kept Matt alive!
God Bless!
lol
We can just leave the men at home, while we go out.
Just kidding! We cant wait to see you either. Matt is none stop talking about Snowmobiling with Dennis!!!
Congratulations to you!
It's so great your husband is home safe and sound and now a new baby boy on the way. Youe and your husband must be just delighted!Hope you and your hubby get some alone time! Is he home for good now? Or just home on a break?
Hi Lori!
Hows your kitty doing? getting a little better each day?
New kitty in the group. I think Lori is right... try to keep him in a separate room with his own litter box and food. . The other cats are being territorial and there's a chance he won't be welcome. My youngest cat has been getting hissed at for 9 years now by the middle cat who could not accept another cat in the house. Lately we had to move the territorial cat into his own room because he started not using the litter box in defiance of the younger cat inching in on his space. They are finicky and feminine and like to have their own space. be sure to add a litter box for the new arrival 1 box per cat in the house. Good luck I hope they can adjust.

Hope
I hope with Obamas leadership and the unity of the American people America will be able to regroup and replenish the land and economy. Go Barry!
A brighter day for us!
I must say I stayed up all night, had my strawberry wine! Yes, Granny, I was drinking! Cried like a baby, especially when I saw Jesse Jackson crying with tears streaming down his face! So emotional for many of us. Very impressed with as many white faces in the crowds as black faces, a history making moment and I was alive to witness it! I think he seemed kind of somber when he walked out, Michelle was beaming and I rejoiced with them!
I do think McCain gave a heartfelt speech and I think he was sincere. He is a good man, just not the right man for America now. Barack will be a good Leader and I admire him very much.
I have said for years that I lost Hope when we lost Bobby, I was a big Clinton fan and stil love Bill, but this is different, this is truely a Brighter day for the world, not just America and I am thrilled!
I want the boys to come home, Granny, I think it is terrible beyond words that any of them have to go serve a second term much less a third one! I am pissed about that and you know my prayers are with you!
Deeds, of course I agree with you and almost always have on every subject! Dori, did you go to the celebration? I wish I could have been there, even a face in the crowd, I would have driven 500 miles for the opportunity if I could have. Heard Brad Pitt was there and of course Oprah was deeply moved, I think Michelle will be on her show soon, he has to get affairs in order, he still has a funeral to go too and I am behind him 200%!!!!!
I am about to freeze, it is so cold here, have my heat on and still cold!
When he is sworn in I will cry again, look forward to the Inaug. Balls and he deserves a wonderful night to party and bask in the love of the American people, I am sooooooo happy and hopeful!!!!!!
I want to go to the Inaug.
I want to go to the Inaug. Balls. I did my part...I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for an invitation. What a awesome experiance that would be. Can you imagine doing the fox trot with Jesse Jackson?
You're right about about Obama making history. I've seen clips of people from all over the world. They were watching the outcome of the election. It seemed as if they had just as much excitement about Obama winning as we did.
Deeds my Dear!
We will be there in spirit!!!!
I will be glued to the set, crying all over the again but I don't care. Whoopeeeeeeeeee!
