Wanted looks to me like another hi-tech cops and robbers movie. I'm going to pass.
If we spent less obsession with celebreties and more on things that really matter like educaton and health, ie. Why should anyone go without just so a sports figure or an A list actor have the money to buy a mansion? Then they get to have thier kids attend the best of schools or get the best medical care on our dime. I give to charity by running races, I don't have the money to give, so I do what I can. Can I be a goddess to then?

Deeds, you are right about the obsession with the celebs. I think that you give what you can by your running races for help with charities. I give what I can by helping Special Olympics, and working volunteer work at the Animal Shelter. I of course pay my tithes to the church and I send money to my Aunt's missionary organization, "Bearing Precious Seed", but we just like to look at the pictures and sometimes their lifestyle is interesting to see. I definitely think the sports figures are way overpaid, as well as the hip/hop singers, but that is how life is. The average person who toils at the hospitals, nurses, school teachers, waitresses, are underpaid and under appreciated, it is unfair and I wish the world would change.

I think celebs are paid accordingly with the box office profits. Box office stars are paid by how much they bring in. They enjoy and feel a need to do what they do. My best wishes to them for doing the under paid job, and still do it everyday!!!!!!!
But I would love to see firefighters, soliders, policemen, library workers, sanation workers, policemen, and anyone who does everyday work, lori included in that group, with being paid what they are worth!!!

the last part was supposed to be the first part. I tried to post it and I couldn't so I changed it and it was all messed up. I believe the "everyday" workers should be paid more than the "super ball player" but I can't make that decision. People decide who makes what by watching games and who gets the most coverage.

I don't see things changing at all. The school teachers and nurses, are definitely on the low end and there is a huge demand for nurses now across the U.S. I think that the budget for the fire fighters and police officers is set in each community, and I know they get paid more here in Ca. than they do in Ky. The ball players get a ridiculous amount, some celebs, like Angie, even admit they get an amount for their work that is unthinkable! I myself think that the government officials, Congress and the Senators get way more than they should, and let's not even talk about their pensions!!! Which is beyond ridiculous to me.
I also don't go along with the set scale for min. wage, it should be much higher than it is, and for the Fat Cats that oppose it, they have their NERVE! They couldn't live, pay rent, buy food, meds. clothes for their kids and make it on what it is, Nope, there needs to be a change! A big change!

I am not for sure but I think she has the baby and it was a little boy. I feel bad for him but she needs help and just being on probation hasn't solved her problem at all. I bet Nashville is leary of her and I don't think she has made any new records lately. She does have a very nice voice, but she is a druggie, and it takes more than just lip service to solve the problem.
box office profits
If the stars get paid by profits then why does AJ(example) get paid so much money?

I read where Cameron Diaz dropped from what she was making by several million when her movies didn't make good profits. I do see where Brad and Angie could still be box office draw as much as they are on every magazine cover in the world, they are still very popular with a lot of people. I don't understand the way they do it in Hollywood.

I will be home all day, except for a quick trip to the local little store for a cup of milk for what hubby is making tommorow night. I will be here all day except for my 5 minute trip, what I have planned. Unless hubby calls from work and needs something, he usually doesn't...but when I plan something, he does, lol...I will be hanging around the house all day. What time do you think will be your call?
