I tuned into the debate early last night. What I saw was beyond obscene behavior. During a speech given by Gov. Palin (a speech she has used time again and again). The lower half of the Republican ticket was claiming that Sen. Obama is paling with a domestic terrorist and does not see America the way she feels it should be viewed. I can put up with the hijinks with knowing that's the way politics sometimes works. What I'm deeply distrubed by is that members of the audience were shouting "terrorist" and "kill him"(meaning Obama). Palin didn't bat an eye, no one said or did anything. I don't care what political party you belong to that type of mudslinging is criminal! Maybe Palin is to young to remember all of the pain and heartache America went through in the aftermath of the assasinations of Martin Lurther King Jr. and the Kennedy brothers. However that doesn't excuse her or the narrow minded people that shouted such obscenities from not doing thier homework. To learn that if they chose to be so passionate about something they will be not so easily swayed by someone standing on a soapbox claming to know the truth and by telling people follow me I know the way. When in reality the claims they make are unfounded.
The bottom line is that when I see things like that happen in a country I feel blessed to live in, I feel sorrow. When top government officials are allowed to behave in a manner that may very well cost someone their life just for the sake of winning an election. I feel like how will there ever be anymore heros? Teddy Roosevelt, George Washington, ie. It deeply saddens me that to be a good American citizen I must look up to and put my faith in people that have not earned it.

How did you like the debate last night? Obama mentioned that incident in the debate. I love that guy.. I hope he wins.can't stnad mcCain and his pre rehearsed answers no matter what question is asked he says his little digs while Obama sticks to the issues at hand. It's so obvious McCain is not equipped to handle this economy education or healthcare situation. We need a democrat in office.
I do have to say McCain did the best last night of the 3 debates but he is out of touch and I don't like his constant degrading remarks and lack of answers to important issues.

both sides didn't tell the whole truth to fan the flames on the attacks they were making. I agree with you about McCain making digs and he did do better last night than ever before. It seems to me that Obama has the ability to raise above the fray more than McCain can. With all of the national discord we need that in a leader. I believe Obama has a more workable plan to help the economy. If McCain won I would be surprised. I've never seen in a run for the white house where there is such a large margin in the gallup polls then the under dog came out on top. This is the first time I've seen the republican party get a lower than a 41% rating in the polls. I belive that if unless the Bradley effect occurs Obama will be our next president. This is just my opinion, I hope I didn't step on anyones toes because of my beliefs.
