For unique names I loved the name Zenya and Wyastin.

I don't know, Wyastin sounds like a new medication's name to me!  Cute picture Airforcemom!

Kimora's mommy, I like Kendal, I know it could be for a boy or girl either one. Kane is nice also. 

You could always go for Kirby, after the vacuum cleaner!  Ha!

How about Michelle Obama!!!! Loved her speech and I think she is a great person.  I would have loved to have gone to Denver and participated in the excitement. I did "tear up" when Teddy Kennedy spoke, I do admire him for the way he has been there for his family and also for the issues he has championed in the Senate.  I wish his well but I am fearful he won't be around for much longer. 

Ladies, I hate camping, never really liked it, I don't like mosquitos, I hate having to get up in the middle of the night and have to pee and I much prefer a nice bed, a TV with a remote control and room service!  My weekend was quiet and boring, I read, watched the Olympics and the Sci-Fi Channel, played with Ozzy!

I do not like this bashing I have seen on TV of him, not at all!  I am a Democrat and I think Obama will do a good job if he wins, I also thought Hillary would have done a fantastic job and loved her speech last night, so far, hers and Michelle's have really impressed me.  I think that the U.S. should have respect for John McCain and he has served his country well!  He was in an Hanoi prison for five years when many Americans were sitting out the war doing nothing sitting on their ass.  EVERY soldier should be admired and appreciated and I don't think he has been given enough respect due him.  Vote for whomever, but it is just not right to Diss a man who has suffered and served this nation, it is not right at all!

 Granny- As you can see on my Tuesday post on urbanmommy-lia.blogspot.com, I'm having a bit of an impatience problem!  However, the process is going much quicker than expected for several reasons...some of which I'm not going to disclose right now; I'd rather do that on the blog first before discussing.  However, the big difference between the adoptions you were describing and ours is that we are adopting from foster care instead of going the infant domestic adoption route.  Thanks for asking, though!  I appreciate your interest. :)

 And for all of you...we're in the process of moving right now...With fairly recent developments in regards to the adoption, we've decided that we're going to move to a larger house. Our current home has four bedrooms, and we're buying a home with six bedrooms, one of those a master suite.  We hope to be moved in and settled by the middle of next month.  It's an abrupt and unexpected change, but we really do need to make this switch before our family expands (which is projected to happen by Thanksgiving).

Everyone knew that my children are hoping to adopt. 

 After meeting them and reviewing their information a birthmother has chosen them.  She is expecting a little girl on Oct. 5 but delivered twice before two weeks early. 

I may have a new granddaughter if our prayers continue to be answered.   

If you are still awake, call me back please!  I don't want to call there and wake up your hubby and have him yank the phone out of the wall!!! Ha!  Just kidding!  I missed your call, I will be home tomorrow all day, I'll call you if I don't hear from you.  Sorry I missed your calls my Dear!

 Congrats Granny!!  That's fantastic news!  It's truly one of the most stressful AND rewarding processes imaginable!  Please keep us posted...

 Haha...I had to laugh at some of her responses to the names we've picked out!  Carmello is the name of a candy bar, but it's also a name.  It's not like Snickers or Milky Way!  And sounds like Kaydence has all-around approval!  I know 2teens mentioned before that she likes the name Kaydence, and I just heard form Tia and got a thumbs up from her in regards to the choices.  What's important is that we love the names, which we do.  

Dori, I've dealt with your bull s*** before, and quite frankly, I'm over it!  Whoever is repulsed by the choices doesn't understand that I've met several Karmellos (spelled with both C and K), so it's not like anyone is going to look at him cross-eyed when he introduces himself.  It's cultural...and culturally, it fits!  I don't think I've EVER met anyone with the nerve to tell a mother that the name she's selected for her new baby is "downright silly."  You're showing your ignorance and your antiquated ideas here, dear aquagirl.

Very interesting!  I do like Mitt Romney and I also used to like Fred Thompson but I think he is a little two faced, but boy, does he ever look Presidential!  However, Obama and Joe Biden are a good ticket to me.

My kids have decided on Kinley Paige for the newly expected addition.  I've been so strung out with excitement that I'm nearly non-functioning.  But as any good Granny, I already have a blanket half knit and bought two adorable pink very pink outfits.
